This parking management solution implements a dual-verification security mechanism for both vehicle entry and exit using integrated access control and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. The system combines Hikvision access control devices with ANPR cameras to ensure that only authorized users and registered vehicles can access the parking area.

Entry Process

The driver presents their registered access credential (card, fingerprint, facial credential, or other supported authentication method) to the Hikvision access control terminal. Simultaneously, the ANPR camera captures and recognizes the vehicle license plate number.

The system verifies:

• The user identity is valid and authorized.
• The detected vehicle plate number is registered in the database.
• The user and vehicle association matches the predefined authorization records.

Access is granted only when both user and vehicle verifications are successful. If either verification fails, the barrier gate remains closed and the event is logged for monitoring and audit purposes.

Exit Process

On exit, the user must authenticate again using the registered access credential. The ANPR camera captures the outgoing vehicle license plate number. The system compares the exit data with the entry transaction records to ensure:

• The same authorized user is exiting.
• The exiting vehicle matches the one recorded at entry.

The barrier gate opens only when both user identity and vehicle information match the original entry record. Any mismatch between user identity and vehicle plate number triggers an alarm or access denial event.
